The great beach state of South Carolina is home to a number of water parks for cooling off all summer long. Consider visiting one of these four great water parks in South Carolina this year.
- Myrtle Waves Water Park: Myrtle Beach is the ultimate summer destination, and its own Myrtle Waves Water Park is a great place to spend a day while you’re there. Take on the half-pipe slide Rockin’ Ray, surf on the Tsunami FlowRider, or take your turn on the Thunderbolt Speed Slides or Turbo Twisters.
- Family Kingdom Amusement Park: Myrtle Waves isn’t the only Myrtle Beach water park. You can also spend a day at Family Kingdom with plenty of rides, pools and amazing views of the ocean.
- Splash Zone Waterpark at James Island County Park: Head to Charleston for a day in the sun. Enjoy waterslides? This park has two 200-feet monsters that twist and turn so much, you’ll forget which way is up. If relaxing is more you’ll style, put your feet up in the lazy river.
- Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Park: In North Charleston, you’ll find this amazing park that boasts more than 15 acres of fun, with multiple waterslides (including a six-lane mat slide), a giant play structure, and a wave pool.
