The Chevrolet Spark is making a big name for its small self. The subcompact car is a hit in metropolitan areas like New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago and is making its way to smaller markets. The small city car, raved about over its size and fuel efficiency, has been all the buzz since its introduction just last year. It’s being talked about again but this time not for its size, but for what’s inside.
At the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show going on now in Las Vegas, Chevrolet revealed the new infotainment system inside the Chevy Spark. The Spark will be the next car to be equipped with MyLink infotainment system including upgrades to TuneIn radio, new in-car apps, and Apple’s Personal Assistant Siri will also be available.
Other new apps available in the new Chevy spark include BringGo, a paid app that converts the touch screen on the infotainment system into a navigation system. This alongside of Siri “Eyes Free” Mode will make thousands of possibilities available with the touch of a finger, or the spoken word.
Chevrolet also plans to equip the new Chevy Sonic with its advanced infotainment system in the near future. Both cars have been hot sellers and as they sell, Chevy equips them with more.
