2017 Silverado New Features: Colors, Trims, and Technologies

The 2017 Silverado comes with an array of new and upgraded features, making this model better than ever before. In addition to new color options, a capless fuel fill, Android Auto, and new High Country trim options, the Silverado is redesigned to make it more versatile than most other pickups on the market.

So what’s new on the 2017 Silverado? The timeless trucks’ new features include exterior color changes. The model is dropping three colors but getting two new bold ones. Instead of Slate Grey, Tungston, and Autumn Bronze Metallic colors, the 1500 now gets Graphite and Pepperdust options. According to GM Authority, capless fuel fill system adds appeal and convenience, while off-road tires now come standard with the High Country Package.

The High Country Package is also getting some intelligent new features like an enhanced driver alert package, IntelliBeam headlights, power-adjustable pedals, and heated leather steering. The High Country Package is a premium option, great for those looking for added sophistication.

The 2017 Silverado also gets Teen Driver mode to instill good driving habits and to help parents keep their kids safe. Low Speed Mitigation Braking is offered on the LT trim to keep you better protected, while Android Auto is now offered.
