Chevrolet provided a jolt to the New York Auto Show earlier this month with the unveiling of the newly redesign 2016 Chevrolet Spark. The small car debuted a more innovative, fuel-efficient powertrain, updated safety technologies, and a variety of connectivity features that make it more appealing than ever before.
“Chevrolet is fast becoming one of the world’s most important mini- and small car manufacturers, offering customers around the globe a new road to the refinement, efficiency, and connectivity features that resonate with them,” said Alan Batey, president, GM North America, and Global Chevrolet. “The redesigned 2016 Spark builds on a strong legacy and takes the segment to a higher level with features and technologies not typically offered.”
Chevrolet showed off a sleeker silhouette and lower profile with the 2016 Chevrolet Spark debut, highlighting the carmaker’s efforts to make the small car more aerodynamic. Combined with an all-new Ecotec 1.4-liter I-4 engine, the 2016 Spark delivers an estimated 40 miles per gallon highway.
The Spark is set to go on sale in the US in late 2015. Until then, stop in to Fred Caldwell Chevrolet to see what other fuel-efficient vehicles Chevrolet has to offer!
