Susan G Komen Race for the Cure – Just a hop, skip, and jump outside of Rock Hill is the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The annual run/walk is an event to raise awareness and donations for Breast Cancer. The festivities start bright and early at 6 a.m. on Saturday, October 4th, in Uptown Charlotte. Fred Caldwell Chevrolet will also be running a campaign and providing facts and statistics all month long so head on over to our Facebook to support this cause!

Blues and Jazz Festival – If you’re looking for something else to do on Saturday, October 4th, check out the annual Blues and Jazz Festival right here in Rock Hill. Running 10 years strong, the festival will feature a restaurant crawl, live music, and evening concerts and performances at the Rock Hill Community Performance Center.

Mummy Shuffle – Looking for family fun activities to help celebrate Halloween? The Clover Rotary Club and Clover High School are putting on the Mummy Shuffle on Saturday, October 18th in Clover. The event features a 5K Fun Run/Walk and costs only $10 through October 17th. There will be prizes for best costumes as well as Race T-Shirts given away on the day of the event. Fred Caldwell Chevrolet has sponsored the Mummy Shuffle in the past so we hope to see everyone out there!

Civil War Reenactment – Just outside of Rock Hill in Historic Brattonsville will be a Civil War Reenactment Festival on October 25th and 26th. There will be camp activites, cannon-firing demonstrations, and of course, battle reenactment. Take the kids out to see a little piece of history all while enjoying good food and great company.
