SUVs are all the rave within families these days. It’s got the space dad is looking for, the safety mom needs, and all of the technology features their kids could ever want. Plus, parents look a lot cooler driving a Chevy Traverse over a minivan. Our Traverse and our Equinox are great SUVs but they are aimed at bigger families. Finally, Chevrolet is introducing a small SUV to help complement any family type and size.
Announced at the New York International Auto Show earlier this week, the Chevrolet Trax combines the utility of an SUV with a sporty but modern design. In addition, the 2015 Chevy Trax will have extensive connectivity features and enhanced passenger safety elements.
The Chevy Trax will become an even more fuel-efficient option for small families or adventurous twenty-somethings who want the versatility of an SUV at a fuel price they can afford. Under the hood of the Trax you’ll find an Ecotec 1.4L turbocharged engine that delivers the fuel efficiency of smaller engine still with a little giddy up and go.
The 2015 Chevy Trax gives customers yet another fuel-efficient, safe and virtually connected choice in the smaller vehicle segment. The small SUV segment is expected to grow rapidly over the next few years and Chevrolet is ready with an exciting new addition to the family.
