The new Chevrolet Z/28 is going with the flow, the track flow that is. The team behind the track car looked at every element of the Z/28 to cut wind and improve aerodynamic flow. This even meant scrutinizing the iconic Chevrolet bowtie.
The 2014 Camaro Z/28 is now equipped with the new and aerodynamically-improved “Flowtie”. The Flowtie is simply a chrome outline of the iconic bowtie that has been the mark of Chevrolet for more than 100 years.
By removing the inner part of the bowtie, the “Flowtie” now allows for three additional cubic meters of air into the engine per minute. This dropped the temperature of engine coolant in the Z/28 by 2 degrees F throughout extended track sessions. This enhances track performance and will now be officially installed on every Camaro Z/28 sold this spring.
To get behind the wheel and get the feel of the track, test drive a 2014 Camaro Z/28 this spring at Fred Caldwell Chevrolet.
