Chevrolet will add an all-new luxury trim to the 2014 Silverado. The Silverado will enter its next-generation and will receive a full redesign for the 2014 model year. The addition of a luxury trim adds excitement to Chevy fans who have been awaiting a luxury trim of the Silverado for some time
The luxury trim will be referred to as the Silverado High Country and will boast unique features with Western flair. Customers can expect leather seats with heated and cooled temperature options and advanced technology features. General Motors has not released trim specifics or the price of the High Country trim.
Chevy is the last make of the GM line to receive a luxury trim. It will go into a category with Cadillac’s Escalade EXT and GMC’s Sierra Denali. It’s likely to compete with Ram’s Laramie line and Ford’s Limited Edition and King Ranch pickups.
The full-size pickup class is growing so it seemed only practical for Chevy’s classic pickup to add a new line. The High-Country and redesigned 2014 Chevy Silverado are expected to make their debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show in January.
