The Chevy Colorado will only be missing from the Chevrolet lineup for 2 model years before it re-enters the running in 2015. The all-new midsize truck from General Motors will look to reclaim the younger generation and will serve as a fuel-efficient alternative to the full-size Silverado.
The 2015 Colorado will be the first update on the mid-size Chevrolet pickup since it replaced the S-10 in 2004. It will run on the same platform as the all-new GMC Canyon that is due out the same year as the new Colorado. However, GM notes that the Colorado will be marketed as more of a sport truck while the Canyon plans to live up to the professional grade GMC promise.
The new Colorado plans to make a big return in the mid-size segment. Automotive experts expect the Colorado to be revealed in November at the L.A. Auto Show and to hit dealerships in the early months of 2014.
