Our nation was built on solidarity and we at Fred Caldwell Chevrolet are standing strong for all the citizens of Oklahoma as they try to pick up the pieces left behind from a tornado that recently tore through the Sooner State. While Oklahoma residents continue to be in our hearts and prayers, Fred Caldwell Chevrolet and General Motors are going a step further with two programs to assist the great people of Oklahoma.
Locally, Fred Caldwell Chevrolet is your Red Cross drop off location for any non-perishable donations (food, clothes, etc.) that could help out Oklahomans during this time of needs. All items collected at the dealership between now and June 1st will be donated in honor of the victiums of Moor, Oklahoma. To do your part, drop off your donation to Fred Caldwell Chevy in Clover, SC today.
Nationally, Fred Caldwell Chevrolet supports General Motors and the GM Foundation as they announce a gift of $50,000 to Forgotten Harvest. Forgotten Harvest has launched an initiative called “Help 4 Oklahoma” and they are collecting food for those who were affected by this week’s tornado. In addition to the monetary donation, GM has also donated 2013 Chevy Silverados to help gather the nonperishable food items that will be transported to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
If you want to help out but just don’t know how, stop by Fred Caldwell Chevrolet to show your support. Stand strong with your country this Memorial Day weekend as you take comfort in the fact that you helped out your fellow countrymen and women.
