The most exciting times for an after-market car designer are right after a big automotive reveal. Since the January unveiling of the 2014 Corvette Stingray customizers have went to work, drafting body kits, add-ons, and accessories for the all-new ‘Vette.
The latest work of art comes to us from Callaway Cars, a high-performance specialty vehicles company that adds a little pep to the Corvette, Camaro, and Silverado base models. Their latest rendition is the 2014 Aerowagon, a hatchback version of the new Stingray with enough power to carry the car up to 200mph. Callaway still claims the powerful supercar will return best-in-class MPG as well.
If you’re a true Corvette enthusiast, you might remember the ’54 Nomad that never made it to market. This Corvette wagon was built by Harley Earl and made its rounds during a Motorama road show. However, no one would ever get behind the wheel.
If the market demands it, Callaway will customize the Aerowagon starting this Fall.
