From Daytona to Detroit, Chevrolet has had some pretty big reveals this year. The all-new Corvette Stingray stole the show in January while the 2014 SS recently turned heads as the pace car at the Daytona 500. Now, to round out the trio, the 2014 Camaro wants its turn in the spotlight.
General Motors is set to debut the 2014 Camaro at the New York Auto at the end of March. Since the Stingray was introduced in Detroit, performance enthusiasts have been eager to see how much of the new Corvette will be shown in the new Camaro.
Speculators say the Camaro is likely to have a similar engine to the Corvette Z06 which houses a LS7 V8. The LS7 V8 is known to be the most powerful small block engine ever made. If the new Camaro indeed takes on the engine of the Z06, it’s predicted to produce up to 505 horsepower.
Other changes expected on the 2014 Camaro include a modified interior and a more chiseled exterior. The Chevy trio of power is setting high stakes for muscle cars around the world. Check out the all-new Camaro when it debuts in New York on March 27th.
